The statement Matriarchy Now! was born in a time of great unrest at my high school, but it has grown into a vision for the future of women leaders, a demand for the end of patriarchy, and a statement of self possession and empowerment.

Organic and Ethical

All products are made from 100% organic cotton and natural dye in fair trade certified factories, which is so much more important than you may think. We aim to promote a circular economy where the materials are ethically sourced, for people and the planet, and where at the end of your garments life it can ultimately return to the earth. This seamless integration in a culture that promotes disposability is a vision for a future without waste!

Giving Back 

A portion of the profits from the sales of Matriarchy Now! will be annually donated to a number of non-profits that support women and girls.

The symbol of the Matriarchy has three elements

The Circle, for the circular economy

The Upside-down Crown, a demand for destruction of Patriarchy and traditional hierarchies.

The Heart, a representation of the vivacity and life giving force of all women.

Together these 3 elements form a Goddess figure in the Cycladic tradition.
